Timothy Hauser, age 39, of Carroll, Iowa, died Monday, September 29, 2008, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M., Saturday, October 4, 2008, at St. Lawrence Church in Carroll. The Celebrant will be Father Timothy Schott. Lectors will be Mr. Hauser’s brothers, Jamie Hauser and Chris Hauser. Gift Bearers and Honorary Pallbearers will be his niece and nephews, Elizabeth Hauser, Caleb Hauser, Lucas Hauser, and Aaron Hauser. Mass Server will be Karla Quandt. Eucharistic Ministers will be Mary Kay Quandt, Marilyn Foley, and Jean Knobbe. Casket Bearers will be Bryan Haberl, Robert Snyder, Steve Snyder, Mark Pawletzki, John Shymanski, and Tom Hauser. Burial will be at the Carroll City Cemetery in Carroll. Friends may call at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll after 3:30 P.M. Friday. A rosary will be prayed at 4 P.M. Friday. There will be a Christian wake service at 7 P.M. Friday by St. Lawrence Parish. Mr. Hauser was born on January 2, 1969, at Carroll, Iowa, the son of Ronald and Nancy (Snyder) Hauser. He spent his lifetime in the Carroll community and attended St. Lawrence School and graduated from Kuemper High School in 1987. He had been employed at various jobs in the Carroll area. He enjoyed spending time with his niece and nephews and enjoyed collecting comic books and action figures. Mr. Hauser’s primary love was music and playing his guitar. He played with several bands but was especially proud of playing with his Dad’s bands “The Reflections” and the Hall of Fame band “The Thunderbolts”. Survivors include his parents, Ronald and Nancy Hauser of Carroll; brothers, Chris Hauser of Des Moines, Tony Hauser of Des Moines, and Jamie Hauser and his wife Jenny of LeMars; a niece, Elizabeth Hauser; and nephews, Caleb Hauser, Lucas Hauser, and Aaron Hauser. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Carole Snyder and Wilfred and Josephine Hauser.
