Born on July 9, 1935 at Carroll, Iowa, Ron was the son of Mathias and Eleanor (Hoesing) Kuker. He attended Sts. Peter and Paul School and later graduated from Carroll High School with the Class of 1953. Ron farmed with his dad on the Kuker farm just west of Carroll. Farming was of great interest to him and he became very enthused whenever anything to do with farming came up. Caring for farm animals was of special interest to him and because of that he became involved with FFA and 4-H during his teen years.
Ron was drafted into the service and was stationed in Ft. Carson, Colorado.
Ronnie always had a positive attitude and loving remembrances of his brothers, sisters and their spouses and families. Most of all, his love for God was evidenced often by his prayers, sharing about God and regular attendance at religious services. May God’s light and love shine upon Ronnie as he rests in the peace of that love.
Ron is survived by his siblings: Lois Graham of Polson, MT, Marvin Kuker of Carroll, Morris Kuker of Auburn, NE, Joleen (Gene) Happe of Burnsville, MN, LaVonne (Dr. Leon) Wernimont of Carroll, Allan (Margaret) Kuker of Denison, Richard Kuker of Omaha, Rilla (Lloyd) Soetmelk of Logan, Robert Kuker of Rimrock, AZ and Jacque Rattenborg of Webster City; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Thomas and Evan Kuker; his brothers-in-law: Dr. Dwight Graham and Darrell Rattenborg.
