Florine Eich, 97, of Carroll, died Saturday, September 26, 2015, at SunnyBrook Assisted Living in Carroll.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Carroll. The Celebrant will be Fr. Craig Collison. Mass Servers will be Kate Timboe, and Kayla Dolan. Music will be by Kate Cuddy and the St. Lawrence Choir with Carly Dolan, Maggie Timboe, and Sherry Loughran as cantors. Lectors will be Pat Eich, and Matt Dolan. Gift Bearers will be Florine’s great-grandchildren. Eucharistic Ministers will be Audrey Siepker, and Ken Behrens. Casket Bearers will be Patrick Eich, Dr. Michele Hall, Jill Timboe, Bob Eich, Jenni Bartles, Dr. Sarah Walter, Matt Dolan, Mike Dolan, Katie Peterson, Tim Dolan, Dustin Eich, Jarrod Eich, and Dr. Jessica Eich. Burial will be at 1 p.m. at Holy Angels Cemetery in Roselle. The Carroll Catholic Daughters of the Americas, and the St. Anthony Hospital Auxiliary will form an honor guard for the funeral mass.
Friends may call at St. Lawrence Church in Carroll, after 4 p.m. on Monday where there will be a Catholic Daughters of the Americas Rosary prayed at 5 p.m., and a Christian Wake Service at 7 p.m.
Visitation will resume at St. Lawrence Church at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, and continue until the time of the funeral mass.
Memorials may be left at the church to be directed to the Kuemper Catholic Schools Foundation.

Born on November 18, 1917 at Roselle, Iowa, Florine Ann was the daughter of Henry and Mayme (Heithoff) Behrens. She attended school at Holy Angels in Roselle.
On May 27, 1941 Florine was united in marriage to Harold Eich at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Roselle. The couple farmed south of Roselle. In 1979 Florine and Harold moved to Carroll, and in 2013 she moved to SunnyBrook Assisted Living. Florine enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, baking, cooking, and volunteering. Most of all Florine enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends. Over the years Florine crocheted many baby blankets, and prayer shawls for St. Anthony Hospital and her family. She volunteered in numerous capacities at St. Lawrence Church. She was a 64 year member of the Carroll Catholic Daughters of the Americas, and a 50 year member of the St. Anthony Hospital Auxiliary. Florine was also a member of St. Lawrence Parish in Carroll.
Florine is survived by her children: Ron (Jan) Eich of Carroll, Dr. Darrell (Katie) Eich of Kennard, NE, Donna Dolan of Pocahontas, and Dr. David (Carol) Eich of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; 13 grandchildren: Patrick (Amy) Eich of Prescott, WI, Dr. Michele (Dr. Bill) Hall of Whitefish Bay, WI, Jill (Dr. Doug) Timboe of Des Moines, Bob (Melanie) Eich of Omaha, NE, Jenni (Darin) Bartles of Lone Tree, CO, Dr. Sarah (Andy) Walter of Portland, Oregon, Matt (Jill) Dolan of Des Moines, Mike (Linnea) Dolan of Ames, Katie (Mike) Peterson of Pocahontas, Tim (Tara) Dolan of Pocahontas. Dustin (Lauren) Eich of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jarrod Eich of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Dr. Jessica Eich of New York, NY; 28 great-grandchildren; brothers: Donald (Arlene) Behrens of Carroll, Jim (Margaret) Behrens of Carroll; her sisters-in-law Virgene Behrens of Carroll, and Betty Kuker of Naples, FL as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Florine was preceded in death by her husband Harold in 1982, her youngest daughter Karen Eich in 1974, a son-in-law: Jim Dolan; her parents, father and mother-in-law: Frank and Ella Eich; brothers: Robert Behrens, Virgil Behrens, and Harry Behrens; sisters: Marie Siepker, and Rita Vonnahme, sisters-in-law: Dorothy Behrens, Louise Behrens, Louise Eich, Lavina Eich, Marie Eich, Christine Taphorn, Louise Eich, and Helen Eich; brothers-in-law: Ed Siepker, Ervin Vonnahme, Bill Eich, Ben Eich, Herbert Eich, Joe Taphorn, Cyril Eich, and Adolph Kuker.
