Carolyn “Carrie” Sibenaller, age 95, of Carroll, died Thursday, October 3, 2019, at St. Anthony Nursing Home in Carroll.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the St. Anthony Nursing Home Chapel in Carroll. The Celebrant will be Fr. Gary Snyder. Mass servers will be Mollie Hurd and Maggie Hurd. Music will be by Leah Dietrich, Betsy Wiedemeier, and Nick Wiedemeier. Lector will be Neil Goetzinger. Eucharistic Minister will be Lori Goetzinger. Casket Bearers will be Dennis Sibenaller, Wayne Taphorn, Steve Taphorn, Dale Goetzinger, Richard Sibenaller, and Neil Goetzinger. Burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery in Roselle.
Visitation will be held at the chapel from 9 until 10 a.m. Saturday morning.
Memorials may be directed to the St. Anthony Nursing Home.

Carolyn “Carrie” Sibenaller was born on November 9, 1923 in Roselle, Iowa, the daughter of John Peter and Johanna (Hoffman) Sibenaller. She grew up near Roselle, and attended Holy Angels School. After her schooling she was employed as a waitress.
Carrie worked as a C.N.A. at St. Anthony Nursing Home from 1963 until 1993. After her retirement she continued to volunteer as needed. Carrie enjoyed meticulous care of her lawn, and garden. She loved spending time with her nieces, nephews, and her close friends. Carrie will be remembered for being there for all of her family whenever the need arose. Carrie was a member of St. John Paul II Parish in Carroll.
Carrie is survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
Carrie was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Mary Sibenaller, Dominic Sibenaller, Peter J. Sibenaller, Ann Taphorn, Rose Sibenaller, Louis Sibenaller, Albert Sibenaller, and Agnes Goetzinger.
