Marge Wolterman, age 70, of Glidden, died Friday, June 7, 2019 at her residence in Glidden.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2019 at St. John Paul II Parish – Holy Spirit Church in Carroll. The Celebrant will be Fr. Kevin Richter. Music will be by Dr. Franklyn Busby, Pastoral Musician, and the Holy Spirit Resurrection Choir. Mass Servers will be Grace Wolterman, and Grace Hoffman. Lector will be Sarah Culligan Irlbeck. Audrina Madden, Noah Woods, Tiana Haulk, and Hailey Haulk will present the offertory gifts. Eucharistic Ministers will be Gary Becker, Allen Becker, and Tricia Wolterman. Honorary Casket Bearers will be Tami Mason, Christina Haulk, Ashley Heard, Liz Woods, Daniel Loeschen, Sarah Culligan Irlbeck, Amanda Hogenson, Maria Wolterman, Sam Humble, Megan Wolterman, Chelsea Wolterman, Courtney Brinkerhoff, David Limoges, and Mike Limoges. Casket Bearers will be Brian Wolterman, Tom Wolterman, Danny Fry, Jason Fry, Cole Fry, Chad Fry, Ryan Fry, Sean Culligan, Michael Peter Wolterman, Bert Madden IV, Zach Wolterman, and Michael Wolterman. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, in Carroll.
Friends may call at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll after 4 p.m. on Wednesday, where there will be a rosary prayed at 5 p.m., and a Christian Wake Service will be held at 6:30 p.m.
The casket will be moved to Holy Spirit Church on Thursday morning, where visitation will resume from 9:30 until 10:15 a.m.

Marge, the daughter of Wilbur and Helen (Becker) Wolterman, was born on February 12, 1949 in Carroll County, Iowa. A life-long resident, she attended St. Joseph’s Grade School in Carroll, and graduated from Kuemper Catholic High School in 1967.
Over the years Marge worked various jobs, but spent most of her career working at the Carroll Health Center, and the Lake City Library. She was a Girl Scout Leader of 10 years, C.C.R.E. Teacher for 26 years, and she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Most important to Marge was her faith in Jesus, and she enjoyed being active in her faith.
Marge is survived by her siblings: Dale (Tina) Wolterman of Carroll, Gary (Lisa) Wolterman of Carroll, Debra (Pastor David) Loeschen of Denison, Cindy (Kevin) Cregeen of Creston, John Wolterman of Carroll, Pat (Bert) Madden of Carroll, Linda Culligan of Carroll, Larry (Marilou) Wolterman of North Pole, AK, and Mike (Bonnie) Wolterman of Sioux City; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents; brother: James; nephews: Christopher, and Jerry; brothers-in-law: Mike Culligan, and Danny Fry, and her sister-in-law, Dee Wolterman.
