Born on November 5, 1955 in Carroll, Iowa; Lois is the daughter of Merle and Thelma (Huegerich) Wiederin. She grew up in Carroll, and graduated from Kuemper Catholic High School in 1973. After high school Lois worked at Boomsma Eggs in Glidden. Lois then worked at Kasperbauer Cleaners in Carroll for many years. This was a job she was very dedicated to, and enjoyed going to work every day.
Lois enjoyed barbeques, cooking, canning, and making her famous salsa. She also enjoyed the Christmas holiday, Christmas lights, and baking delicious Christmas candies, and goodies. She appreciated sitting outside, socializing, and playing cards with family and friends. Most of all Lois enjoyed taking road trips and listening to Simon and Garfunkel with her daughter Jenny, and cheering on, #10, her granddaughter Kelsie in all of her activities, very rarely missing any event.
