John “Jack” Siepker, age 70 of Carroll, died Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2016 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Carroll with Fr. Timothy Johnson of Holy Spirit Parish officiating.
Jack’s family will receive friends after 10 a.m. on Friday at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll.

Born on February 17, 1946 at Carroll, Iowa, John “Jack” Siepker was the son of Lawrence and Josephine (Loew) Siepker. He attended Sts. Peter and Paul School and later Kuemper High School. Following his schooling Jack held various jobs in the Carroll area. For most of his working career Jack was employed at Coors in Denver, Colorado. Following his retirement he returned to the Carroll community.
Jack enjoyed music, model cars, jogging and walking. He took great interest in his family history and loved collecting family photos and scrapbooking. Jack also enjoyed and was a talented artist painter.
Survivors include his son, Rick Siepker and friend Jennifer Glose of Lakewood, CO; his grandchildren, Danny Siepker of Lakewood, CO, Ashley Siepker of Carroll, and Sebastian Metheny of Carroll; his sisters: Janice Snyder of Breda, Mary (Gary) Rutten of North Carolina, Pat (Charlie) Hill of Carroll, Jane (Bryce) Beede of Wisconsin, and Cherie (Rick) Foley of Carroll; his brother, Larry Siepker of Carroll; his sister-in-law, Janie Siepker of Mt. Carmel; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his son, David Siepker; his sister, Bette Snyder; his brothers, Gary Siepker and Terry “Zippy” Siepker.
