Joanna Reinart, age 43, of Carroll, Iowa, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at her residence in Carroll. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, July 3, 2010, at Holy Spirit Church in Carroll. The Celebrant will be Father Timothy Johnson. The casket will be taken to the church at 8:30 A.M. Saturday to lie in state until the time of the funeral mass. Lector will be Terry Langholdt. Gift Bearers will be Brenda Langholdt and Beth Parkis. Eucharistic Ministers will be Marilyn Foley and Judy Huegerich. Honorary Pallbearers will be Janine Harms, Angela Olerich, Crystal Davis, Sue Gruhn, Brenda Huegerich, and Tina Majors. Casket Bearers will be John Reinart, Whitey Steinkamp, Dave Peters, Mike Grote, Bret Eischeid, and Lynn Pudenz. Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Saturday at Holy Family Cemetery in Lidderdale. Friends may call at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll after 3:30 P.M. Friday. A rosary will be prayed at 4 P.M. Friday. There will be a Christian wake service at 7 P.M. Friday by Holy Spirit Parish. Joanna was born on April 25, 1967, at Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and Sharon (Snyder) Reinart. She graduated from Carroll High School in 1985 and then attended the Des Moines Area Community College. Joanna made her home in Manning and Carroll and was employed by American Home Shield for many years and for the past eight years has been employed by the Farner-Bocken Company. Joanna enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, shopping, and home decorating. Survivors include her father, Paul Reinart of Carroll; her mother, Sharon Wilson of Carroll; sisters, Jackie Evans of Carroll and Ashley Reinart of Huxley; her twin brother, John Reinart and wife Roxie of Carroll; step-father, Frank Wilson of Carroll; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Schwery and husband David, Jill Woodward and husband Shawn, Cory Berry, Sidney Evans, and Grace Reinart; her grandmother, Dolores Snyder of Carroll; a special friend, Larry Jo Hinners of Gray; a best friend, Lynn “Forest” Pudenz of Carroll; and by her dog, Sammie. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hilbert and Cecelia Reinart and Norbert Snyder.
