Howard Leroy Jarman Jr., also known as Sam by many, was born on December 30, 1959. He touched more hearts than words can fully express. Though he faced many challenges, he never let them define him. Instead, he showed us joy in its purest form. He had a special way of making people smile—whether it was through his sense of humor, his warmth, or those unforgettable hugs that made everyone feel cared for.
He loved watching game shows, and The Price Is Right was his favorite. Something so simple brought him so much happiness, and in turn, he reminded us to cherish the little things in life.
Over the years, the people who cared for him, and those who were blessed to know him, became more than caregivers and friends—we became family. And like family, we laughed with him, shared in his joys, and now grieve deeply at his passing.
Sam quickly became a favorite to everyone who crossed his path. His kindness, humor, and loving spirit left an imprint that we will carry with us always.
While we will miss him dearly, we find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace. His life may have been marked by challenges, but it was also filled with love, laughter, and connection. That is the legacy he leaves with us.
Rest peacefully, Howard “Sam” Jarman. You will always be remembered with love.
Howard is survived by family and friends of Mallard abide Inc., Family Resource Center and Fonda Nursing home.
