Gladys Stevens, 88 of Templeton, died Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 5, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Templeton. The Celebrant will be Fr. Shinoj Jose. Music will be by Jeanne Kerkhoff and the Sacred Heart Men’s Choir. Lector and Eucharistic Minister will be JoAnn Klocke. Gift Bearers will be Ron and Mary Lou Vonnahme. Casket Bearers will be Gladys’ nephews. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Templeton.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday at Sacred Heart Church and will continue until time of the funeral mass.

Born on August 29, 1929 at Templeton, Iowa, Gladys was the daughter of Frank and Louisa (Kroeger) Stevens. She attended Sacred Heart School in Templeton and later moved to Ft. Dodge where she was employed at Global Union. In retirement, Gladys returned to the Templeton community. Gladys enjoyed trips to the casino as well as making crafts and attending various craft shows. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Templeton.
Gladys is survived by her sister, Delores Vonnahme of Carroll; her sister-in-law, Helen Stevens of Carroll; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Joe, Don, Marvin, and Melvin Stevens; and her sisters-in-law: Alice Stevens, Alberta Stevens, and Dorothy Stevens; and her brother-in-law, Ray Vonnahme.
