Diane Klocke, age 56, of Coon Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday, October 24, 2009, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at Annunciation Catholic Church in Coon Rapids. The Celebrant will be Father Anthony Pick, assisted by Deacon Louis Meiners. The casket will be taken to the church at 8:30 A.M. Wednesday to lie in state until the time of the funeral mass. Lectors will be Angie Hagen, Jenny Determan, Kelley Burke, and Kelley Johnson. Gift Bearers will be grandchildren, Megan Eischeid, Carter Eischeid, Lucas Lampe, Max Lampe, Ben Lampe, Emily Lampe, and Ryan Lampe. Mass Servers will be Kelli and Tim Dentlinger. Eucharistic Ministers will be Rachel Eischeid and Jane Schaefer. Casket Bearers will be Patrick Volkir, Chris Hagen, Jon Hagen, Keith Seier, Spencer Klocke, and Nic Klocke. Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Carroll. Friends may call at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll after 3:30 P.M. Tuesday. A rosary will be prayed at 4 P.M. Tuesday. There will be a Christian wake service at 7 P.M. Tuesday by Annunciation Parish. Memorials may be left at the funeral home or church for the Second Chance Relay for Life Team. Diane was born on December 22, 1952, at Sac City, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph W. and Delores (Schramm) Determan. She attended Sacred Heart School at Early, St. Lawrence School in Carroll and graduated from Kuemper High School in 1971. She then attended the College of St. Mary in Omaha, Nebraska. On February 23, 1974, she was married to Duane Klocke at St. Joseph Church in Dedham. The couple farmed south of Dedham until 1984 when they moved to Coon Rapids. Since 1982 she has been employed as a Certified Insurance Counselor for the Coon Rapids Insurance Agency in Coon Rapids. She was a member of Annunciation Parish and was very active in the Relay for Life. Diane enjoyed her family, cooking, shopping, and her dog Midnight. Survivors include her husband, Duane Klocke of Coon Rapids; children, Rachel Eischeid and her husband Thaine of Grimes, Lisa Lampe and her husband Joseph of Carroll, Laura Klocke of Madison, Wisc., and Philip Klocke of Carroll; seven grandchildren, Megan Eischeid, Carter Eischeid, Lucas Lampe, Max Lampe, Ben Lampe, Emily Lampe, and Ryan Lampe; her mother, Delores Determan of Carroll; sisters, JoAnn Jensen and her husband Ron of North Beach, Maryland, Jean Blum and her husband Jerry of Auburn, Barbara Seier and her husband Bill of Naperville, Illinois, Patricia Adams and her husband H.L. of Winter Haven, Florida, and Mary Hagen and her husband Ron of Rice Lake, Wisc.; her brothers, Donald Determan and his wife Mary of Ft. Pierce, Florida, David Determan and his wife Jeanne of Akron, Michael Determan and his wife Stephanie of Phoenix, Ariz., Robert Determan of Bellevue, Nebr., James Determan and his wife Marjorie of Lincoln, Nebr., and Thomas Determan and his wife Janna of Lakeland, Florida; her father and mother-in-law, Lawrence and Bethene Klocke of Carroll; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Jane and Gary Schaefer of Carroll, Keith and Karen Klocke of Villisca, and Dean and Monica Klocke of Dedham. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Determan; and a brother, John Determan, in infancy.
