Deborah Kay Larsen, born on July 6, 1954 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, led an extraordinary life. She dedicated herself to helping others by volunteering with the Red Cross at just 14 years old prior to attending nursing school in Texas. Deborah’s passion for nursing carried her through a successful career until her retirement in 2019 at the age of 65. On April 1, 1992, she united with her beloved husband, Robert Sterling Larsen, and together they embarked on many adventures during their travels. Eventually, they settled in Lake City, making it their cherished home. Deborah’s family was her pride and joy. She is survived by her husband, Robert, and her children, Susannah (John, Merrick), Jeannie (Tesa, Hannah, Ashley (Alex), Emilee), Paul (Lillian, Lauren), Marshall (Jessica), and Megan (Johnny, Courtney, Vanessa, Claudia, Emma, Rachel, Aniyah). Deborah’s love and support for her family were unwavering. She had a special fondness for real Christmas trees and enjoyed watching HGTV. Nana’s craft projects were a testament to her creativity, even if they were never quite finished. Deborah K. Larsen was called home to our Lord on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.
