Tammy Schulz, 54 of Carroll, died Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2014 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Carroll. The Celebrant will be Fr. Timothy Schott. Music will be by Kate Cuddy and the St. Lawrence Choir. Mass Servers will be Blake Baumhover and Karly Baumhover. Lectors will be Travis Schulz, Jake Schulz, and Michael Millenacker. Gift Bearers will be Ashlee Daniels, Amber Kitt, and Autumn Schulz. Eucharistic Ministers will be Joyce Baumhover, and Joleen Schulz. Honorary Casket Bearers will be Heather Jones, Angie Fuller, Jacque Dentlinger, Kasee Fuller, Jamie Coobs, Trisha Marsh, and Leah Roetker. Casket Bearers will be Travis Schulz, Tim Schulz, Aaron Schulz, Jake Schulz, Nick Schulz, Ryan Fuller, and Michael Millenacker. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Carroll. Friends may call at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll after 2:30 p.m. on Sunday where there will be a rosary at 3 p.m. and a Christian Wake Service at 5 p.m. The casket will be moved to St. Lawrence Church at 8:30 a.m. on Monday where visitation will resume until time of the funeral mass. Tamra “Tammy” Schulz was born on November 20, 1959, at Carroll, Iowa, the daughter of Theodore and Delores (Engelen) Schulz. She grew up in the Carroll community and graduated from Carroll High School. Tammy worked at Carroll State Bank for over 18 years. She enjoyed painting, Bingo, and her I Pad, which she would frequently use to keep in touch with her family via Facebook. Tammy also enjoyed shopping at Wal-Mart, and decorating for the different seasons. Tammy was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Survivors include her siblings: Karen Millenacker of Oklahoma City, OK, Bruce (Maureen) Schulz of Carroll, Jenny (Roger) Fuller of Marion, Royce (Shelley) Schulz of Scranton, Garry Schulz of Carroll, Deb (Joe) Roetker of Ankeny, Nancy Schulz of Carroll, and Ashley Schulz of Carroll; a special aunt, Joyce Baumhover of Carroll, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other extended relatives and many friends. Tammy was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Allan Schulz in infancy, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Schulz, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Engelen.
