A Private Family Funeral Service will be held at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll on Monday, December 14, 2020. A livestream of Issy's service will be available on Monday morning. Born January 4, 1928 in Carroll, Iowa, Isabelle was a daughter of Ventura and Mary (Beltram) Salcedo. She resided at St. Anthony’s Orphanage in Sioux City, Iowa until 1944 when she made her home with Henry and Nell Meiners in Dedham, Iowa. She graduated from St. Angela’s Academy in 1948. Isabelle was married to Charles Wittrock on October 10, 1950. From this union six children were born. Issy loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with her whole heart. She enjoyed writing poems, adult coloring, puzzles, crocheting, making paper boxes and quilts for her children and grandchildren to cherish. Issy was a follower of Jesus Christ and loved to read from her bible daily. Isabelle is survived by her children: Steve (Sherry) Wittrock of Omaha, Jim (Joyce) Wittrock of Carroll, Rosie (Steve) Sapp of Carroll, Ray (Judy) Wittrock of Carroll, Carolyn “Bubba” Wittrock of Carroll, and Marilyn (Jeff) Dryden of Carroll; twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law: Rose Salcedo; foster brothers and sisters; nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives. Isabelle was preceded in death by Charles, her parents, foster parents, sister and brother-in-law: Lucille and Mike Michael, brothers: Joe Salcedo, Henry Salcedo, and Benny Salcedo.
