From the first time we met Ken and Katie Frank, we knew that they would be taking excellent care of our son just like their own grandson. Right away they said that William can call them “Papa Ken and grandma Katie”. We will dearly miss “papa Ken”. When we didn’t need daycare for William anymore, we didn’t stop visiting with Ken and Katie. They always bought popcorn from William when he was a cub scout..even when they couldn’t eat it anymore. And when Katie passed away, William was telling Ken that his grandpa will take great care of her, as his grandpa just passed away one week prior. Many years passed, but we never forgot Ken. How excited were we to find out that he was living at Sunnybrook. Every time we went up to see Marlo’s mom, we would stop in and visit and take him to her room so they can visit together. Ken always had a smile on his face and asked about whether Marlo and William had gone fishing or deer hunting. Marlo really enjoyed talking with Ken about wildlife and the great outdoors. My sympathy goes out to all of Ken’s family as he will truly be missed by us all. As Marlo said tonight..good bye my fellow deer hunter friend..may you get the finest and biggest buck of them all..and be dancing around a bonfire and telling the greatest stories. With my heartfelt condolences and tearful good bye from Marlo, Susan, William and Emmy Trecker
