When I was director at St. Anthony Nursing Home, I would sometimes wheel Vera back to her room from breakfast or lunch. She was always very pleasant to me, and always remarked how she liked some item of clothing or jewelry I was wearing. She was a very easy resident to care for and she never complained. She often told me, “Greg is coming,” or “Greg was here this morning.” She realized how devoted Greg was to her and she eagerly anticipated his visits. I have many good memories of Vera. Thoughts and prayers to Vera’s family.
