Your mom faced what life threw her with wit, humor and always honesty. I’ll never forget coming to your house after school and smelling her homemade bread and cinnamon rolls cooling on the kitchen counter.No one made them better. Evie was our stand-in Mom when Lucy couldn’t be there. She never made my brother, sister or me feel we weren’t part of your family. I will forever be thankful for having her in my life and for being my mom’s best friend, always and forever.
