Father was my Godfather back in 1950! I am one of the Paul Macke clan from Portage, Wisconsin. I always felt special having a priest for a Godfather, and he truly was very special and very much loved by our family. For many years we had annual or semi-annual family reunions with Grandma Tilly Macke and all the Macke aunts, uncles and cousins, and Father Dick never missed one. He always celebrated a private mass for us wherever we were gathered. We enjoyed his company and were so proud to have him as our uncle. With love and cherished memories,
