We will sure miss our dear Aunt Marian. She always made me feel special. I have wonderful memories of when I was a child and she would take me with her to Lake View. Or I would ride along with her to hunt for wild asparagus. As an adult, Jo and I will never forget the time she and Leona came to visit us in San Francisco. We had high tea at the Palace Hotel, a drink at the rooftop bar at the Fairmont, and dinner at a bay-side restaurant at Ghiradeli Square. Oh, and she advised us to call the weed commissioner on our neighbors for growing sunflowers! And of course, her famous tomato beers that we shared every year when we came to Arcadia.
So sorry we can’t get to the funeral. We will be making a donation in her honor to Catholic Charities.
