I loved all the girls in my class but there was one extra special one in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade, Darlene, At that age our personalities were still forming. Darlene and I said that I was part of her and she was part of me. We went through 1st to 12 grade grade together. We have remained friends.
We just talked about a week ago. Yes, I will miss her.
