I don’t know where to start. My Auntie Layne has been there my whole life. She shared every birthday and Christmas when we were growing up.
She stood on the front porch with Mom after Daddy died and waved us on our way. She stood on the front porch and cried with us when we had to sell the house. She visited Mom every week when she was at the Health Center.
Last night all I could think about was that this couldn’t have happened, because she has to open the doors on her Advent Calendar.
I hope everyone is so fortunate that they were gifted with an Auntie Layne.
