Sherry and all, My memories of Fred are so real and vivid even though so many of them go back 30-40 years. I have always considered you and Fred as a second set up of parents and very important in my life. Fred could always be counted on to tell you what he thought and what he would and wouldn’t do for you. I think I learned that back when I was about 10. Many people thought he was a strict rigid person, but Fred would always do about anything for you in his own way. I still remember that yellow VW bug with the makeshift fender and bumper! The countless days at the lake will be cherished forever with the fishing and playing…and so many times of getting Fred and my dad to forgo some fishing time to allow us kids to go waterskiing and tubing. I will also always be grateful for the caring and support that Sherry and Fred provided me and my whole family when my mom passed away. I know Fred will be watching over us all as we continue on without him. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and all of the family. My thoughts of Fred will cause some initial pain, but the memories will always bring a smile to my face and peace in my heart.
