The kids would like to share a memory: When we lived in lake city, they loved to “go to Patrick’s house” to play and get hugs from aunt Monica and see uncle John’s “Big tractors”. We would sometimes pick him up and take him to the park. One time they were so excited to have Patrick come to their* house. (This was before we had boy toys). The girls and Patrick ran down to the basement to explore the toy room they had told him so much about. About 2 minutes later he can running back up the stairs and told me ” Do you know everything down there is PINK?!” Autumn then tried to get him to play with her dollhouse. He was obviously dissappointed and appalled in the choices avaliable (do you want to play with the pink blocks.. or the purple blocks…?)
In an effort to save Patrick from the girls’ tea party, I decided we would go out for lunch, pick up some bubbles, and chalk and we ended up at the Park. They had a great time, but he didn’t make another requests to visit the land of pink and flowers. 🙂 XOXOXO love you all- we will miss Patrick
