I remember when I had Joe videotape Esther’s birth. Such a wonderful job of taking care of this special day!! Since he was in the OR, he had to wear scrubs. He was so funny! The nurse could only find a set a size too small and he said something to the effect: “These are so tight, I better not toot.” That sure helped reduce some of the stress of my first scheduled C-section.
I also remember taking my First Responder class with him teaching CPR. Anyone who knew him on the paramedic unit KNOWS how much he enjoyed doing CPR.
May God give you the strength to get through the next year with lots of fond memories.
