Sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. My family (Walter and Noreen Brown) lived near the Waffuls at 15th St and Prospect Ave, Fort Dodge. Was younger than Jack and Jim (12 yrs+/-) but they were always funny and friendly to us younger kids. No doubt that Jack (and Jim still) continued that kindness. “Begging for cookies” at Grace’s back door was part of the loosely structured routines of many of us neighborhood kids. Again, sorry for your loss and hoping that fond memories will soon replace this day’s sadness.
