Jo was one of a kind. We’ve been friends since Briar Cliff college. Today upon calling her for our usual thanksgiving time talk her number was disconnected. I last talked to her in September and just believed she’d fight the good fight and I’d be there for her as she let me in. Today I found out through social media this beautiful friend and human being is passed . There was no one kinder, thoughtful, considerate and full of loving kindness for others. Her gift to humankind in this life was showing others their value with how she to spoke and treated others. I miss her laugh and her humor. She fought long and hard a battle against depression and the courage to depict her struggle on her Facebook page. yes, may she Rest In Peace. I am burdened for the loss of her and I wish I could connect with one of her family members. I deeply regret I missed her funeral as I did not know. My heart is with her family whom she talked about lovingly through the years I’ve known her.
