Sheila Schoeppner, age 47, of Templeton, Iowa, died Friday, August 15, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at Sacred Heart Church in Templeton. The Celebrant will be Father Dale Reiff. Lector will be R.T. Schreck. Gift Bearers will be her sisters and brothers, Diane Rohe, Cheryl Bernholtz, Doug Irlmeier, and Chad Irlmeier. Mass Servers will be Chase Prebeck, Josh Irlbeck, and Cassidy Weitl. Eucharistic Ministers will be Sylvia Sporrer, Charlene Rupiper, and Mary Schoeppner. Honorary Pallbearers will be Karen Prebeck, Peg Weitl, Lisa Irlbeck, Rhonda Schwaller, Jean Behrens, and Sheryl Gust. Casket Bearers will be John Snyder, Dale Schoeppner, Dave Schoeppner, Todd Irlmeier, Dale Rohe, and Chris Mohr. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Templeton. Friends may call at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll after 2:30 P.M. Monday. A rosary will be prayed at 3 P.M. Monday. There will be a Christian wake service at 7 P.M. Monday by Sacred Heart Parish. In lieu of flowers memorials may be left at the funeral home or church for the Transplant Foundation. Mrs. Schoeppner was born on December 13, 1960, at Carroll, Iowa, the daughter of Duane and Pauline (Wanninger) Irlmeier. She attended Sacred Heart School, graduated from Kuemper High School in 1979, and graduated from the Spencer School of Business in Spencer, Iowa. On October 11, 1980, she was married to Gary Schoeppner at Sacred Heart Church in Templeton. The couple made their home in Templeton. She had been employed at the Iowa Savings Bank and as a Dental Assistant for Doctor’s Norman Gradoville, Lynn Curry, and most recently David Berning. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish and Parish Ladies Guild. Mrs. Schoeppner enjoyed her family and was always concerned about the needs of others before her own. Survivors include her husband, Gary Schoeppner of Templeton; daughters, Amy and Amber Schoeppner of Templeton; her parents, Duane and Pauline Irlmeier of Templeton; sisters, Diane Rohe and her husband Dale of Carroll, and Cheryl Bernholtz of Carroll; brothers, Doug Irlmeier and his wife Pam of Templeton, and Chad Irlmeier of Des Moines; her mother and father-in-law, Leonette and Vernon Irlbeck of Templeton; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Mary Schoeppner of Templeton, Pat and John Snyder of Templeton, Joan and Dale Reiling of Carroll, Carol and Jim Segebart of Denison, Dale and Peg Schoeppner of Hastings, Minn., and Dave and Meg Schoeppner of Templeton. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, April Schoeppner; sister-in-law, Mary E. Schoeppner; step brother-in-law, Jason Irlbeck; and father-in-law, Leo Schoeppner.
