BettyJean “Missy” Kritchard, age 48, of Perry, Iowa, and formerly of Carroll, Iowa, died Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at the Dallas County Hospital in Perry. Funeral Services will be held at 1 P.M., Monday, November 8, 2010, at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. Officiating will be Chaplain Peg Scheidt –NACC, of St. Anthony Regional Hospital and Nursing Home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Visitation will begin at 11 A.M. Monday at the Sharp Funeral Home and last until the time of the funeral service. Missy was born on December 9, 1961, at Elizabethtown, Kentucky, the daughter of Ronald and Catherine (Frampton) Kelly. She grew up in the Jacksonville, Florida community where she received her formal education and then attended Cosmetology School in Pensacola, Florida. Missy moved to Carroll in 2000. On August 28, 2009, she was married to Paul Kritchard in Carroll. The couple lived in Carroll until April 2010 when they moved to Perry. Missy enjoyed her family, singing, and riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Missy is survived by her husband, Paul Kritchard of Perry; her father, Ronald Kelly of Milton, Florida; her mother, Catherine Quintern of Jacksonville, Florida; her children, Bear Quintern of Jacksonville, Florida, Jesse Williams of Jacksonville, Florida, Catherine Brooks of Jacksonville, Florida, and Nicole DeShane and husband Jason of Carroll; step children, Adam Kritchard of Des Moines, Steven Kritchard of Perry, Anthony Kritchard of Des Moines, and Casey Kritchard of Des Moines; 3 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; her brothers, Michael Kelly of Jacksonville, Florida, Douglas Kelly of Jacksonville, Florida, Nick Kelly of Jacksonville, Florida, and Greg Kelly of Jacksonville, Florida; and sisters, Catherine Milano and husband Steve of New Haven, Connecticut, and Dee Gonnerman and husband Steve of Breda. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Williams; and a brother, Ronald Kelly.
