Barb Frost was born in Carroll on February 16, 1952 to Albert “Abe” and Cecilia Nagl. She grew up in Carroll and graduated from Kuemper in 1970. She lived most of her life in Kansas City and worked as an underwriter for insurance companies. She returned to Carroll in 2008 and lived here the rest of her life. She was a great dog lover and had several dogs over the years, her last dog was Sassy a Havanese.
Barb had many interests and was an avid reader. For the last several years her primary interest was in the Catholic Church. She was active in the John Paul II parish, she was an Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister, participated and volunteered at parish events. She especially enjoyed the parish’s Wednesday night (CCYN) dinners and was an active volunteer.
She was a big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and was delighted with their recent Super Bowl win and exciting quarterback Patrick Mahomes. She also followed the Royals, often watching them on TV or listening on the radio. She followed the Hawkeyes. One of her favorite nights was Monday when she watched Monday Night Football. She enjoyed talking with her neighbors and friends, especially Class of 1970 classmates. Barb was curious about many things and had an opinion (strongly held) about many topics.
